About Windyway Trust
We are a group of people who initially were just friends of the family at Windyway and were asked by Frank Dawber to form a fundraising body to support the rescue work at Windyway. So in February 2005 we gained Charity status and started our fundraising and raising awareness of what we do for Windyway. Our Charity Number is 1108111 and our charity details are on the Charity Commission website along with copies of our accounts from when we commenced as a Charity.

OUR SHOP
We opened our shop in Chestergate four years ago and have never looked back. The shop is extremely busy and has numerous volunteers who work extremely hard to keep the donations moving. We receive lots of donations during the week from many people whose kindness and charity has helped to make the shop as successful as it is, we are extremely grateful to everyone who contributes to the achievements made in such a short time.

Betty Woodrow Trust provided us with some money last year to buy and
run our van which has proved to be an absolute godsend with all our
running about for the shop and our external events. As you can
see we have our logo and Charity details on the side and the van can
be driven by any one of the trustees but is mostly driven by David
Bagueley who works extremely hard for us carrying bags and donations
for the kennels back and to.
